Zoe Saldana, born June 19th, 1978, was the son of Asalia Nazario as well as Aridio Saldana. Her father is Dominican and her mother is Puerto Rican. She was raised by her mother who lived in Queens. As she reached the age of 10 years old, she and her parents relocated to the Dominican Republic. They lived in the Dominican Republic for seven more years. Zoe's love for dancing was ignited when they were in the Dominican. Zoe started her dance training with ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy.
