Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. The name was given to her by her parents in honor of the town where she grew up. Michel Horowitz is her father, while Cynthia Palmer is her mother. Ryder, who considers herself Jewish, is descended from Ryder's Jewish father. The actress is also half-sister to Sunyata Jubal. Her younger sibling is Uria. Ryder was born in the United States and moved with her family members to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. They didn't even have electricity. Ryder was a consummate reader and spent her time reading books as there was no TV. When she turned 12 Ryder joined the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. Lucas the film, which was released in 1986, was her first major character. Ryder was 15 when she got it. Ryder faced bullying during her time in high school. Her thought was that by becoming an actor her behaviour was going to be corrected. However, it didn't come happen. However, she pushed on with her dreams. In 1988, she got her big break in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder continued to play successful roles in many movies. In 1993, she was nominated twice to win Academy Awards. One of the nominations was for her part in The Age of Innocence.
